Sharon Mann, internationally renowned fitness expert and presenter, was awarded “Canadian Fitness Presenter of the Year” in 2001. As host and co-producer of “In Shape with Sharon Mann” and “Sharon Mann’s Bodytech”. Her DVD titled “The Works With Sharon Mann” had the prestige of being the US home shopping channels number one selling Workout DVD.
While living what She thought was healthy lifestyle, Sharon was diagnosed with breast cancer in Nov. 2015. This was a wake up call that things needed to change, and began a journey of discovery. Since then, Sharon has dived into the healing power of plant-based foods, a positive mindset, alternative therapies, managing stress, and truly loving yourself and embracing healthy mindful living. With this lifestyle, she is happy to share that scans are clear, blood work is good and health has never been better.

As Farm Sanctuary’s National Shelter Director, Susie oversees a team of caregivers who provide individualized care to hundreds of rescued farm animals across the organization’s three sanctuary locations. They work closely with veterinarians who help Farm Sanctuary create and provide cutting-edge care and treatment to farm animals at every stage of their lives, ensuring that they receive the same high-quality veterinary care more commonly reserved for companion animals. By helping people get to know farm animals as individuals rather than products, she spreads the word that these beings have rich, vibrant personalities and emotional lives — just like the dogs and cats that most of us know better.

Dr. Keri Cronin is a professor, author, and animal advocate. She is the co-founder (with Jo-Anne McArthur of We Animals) of The Unbound Project, a multimedia project celebrating the many brave women around the world who are making a difference for animals. Her presentation at Niagara VegFest 2017 focuses on the power of art in advocacy work.

JL Fields is the founder and culinary director of the Colorado Springs Vegan Cooking Academy. She is a vegan lifestyle coach & educator, Food for Life instructor, and a chef instructor in the culinary program at the University of New Mexico-Taos. JL is the author of The Vegan Air Fryer: The Healthier Way to Enjoy Deep-Fried Flavors and Vegan Pressure Cooking: Delicious Beans, Grains, and One-Pot Meals in Minutes. She is the co-author of Vegan for Her: The Woman’s Guide to Being Healthy and Fit on a Plant-Based Diet. JL produces and hosts the weekly radio program Easy Vegan and writes the monthly vegan dining review for the Colorado Springs Gazette. She writes and broadcasts from Colorado Springs where she lives with her husband Dave and their rescued cat Oliver.
