A lineup of guest speakers will share stories of compassion and promote plant-based diets as part of Niagara VegFest Sunday, June 5.
Dr. Michael Greger, a physician and founding member of the American College of Lifestyle Medicine, will take the speaker’s stage from 1:30 to 2:30 p.m. before a book signing.
Susie Coston, Farm Sanctuary’s national shelter director, will speak from 3 to 4 p.m.
Also speaking will be registered dietitian Melissa Aubertin-Coutu; Keri Cronin and Jo-Anne McArthur, founders of the Unbound Project, a multimedia and book project that celebrates women who are making a difference for animals; and Camille Labchuk, lawyer and executive director of Animal Justice.
